Jackson Swaby is a music producer, contemporary fine artist and designer based in Yorkshire (UK). 

Music creation and painting have always been a central column of Jackson’s life. After his Fine Art studies, Jackson spent many years cocooned in music, growing the tools to capture and present his sound. This honing of his craft evolved into a visceral exploration of sonics, impactful use of his voice and the translation of feel through playing instruments. 

Over the years Jackson has regularly received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 5, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, with many of his songs making top tracks of the year lists. His productions have also been supported by internationally recognised DJs and local tastemakers alike.

Releases as ‘Jackson Swaby’, ‘Jackson Lorenzo’ & ‘JCKSN SWBY’. Unbound by genres, releasing from house to techno, club culture to hip-hop, R&B, acoustic song writing, jazz, electronica, and cinematic sound design, while drawing inspiration from musical traditions and movements from around the world. 

Much of Jackson's music is released through ‘Order Materia’, an independent creative platform he founded in 2014. Originally established as a fashion and design brand, Order Materia has since evolved into a multidisciplinary home for his music, visual art, and broader creative output.

Since October 2017, Jackson has curated and released the monthly ‘Jackson Selects’ mix series, a long-running exploration of the music inspiring him. Predominantly focused on electronic music, the series has become a platform for sharing both emerging discoveries and established favourites, offering listeners an ongoing insight into the sounds shaping his creative world.
