The Rat Portraits

I was walking through a dense forest, where there was a mischief of enlarged rats.

These rats had simple shapes floating above them, like ones you’d find on a baby’s teething rattle and they were emitting some sort of light.

I was stamping on these glowing rats when one of them said, ‘Don’t kill us. We haven’t yet figured out how we can use these together to talk’.
