What intrigues me most is the unknown. The space between the “Physical” and the “Non Physical”, the “Internal” and the “External”, their places of crossing and all the other analogies of separation of two places, that may not be separate at all.

The works in this book are explorations of my experiences from these undefined spaces. Dreams have been the most common source which are thrown upon me with regular recurring ease. Others have been born from what may be described as “Apparitions” or “Visions”, blurring and merging boundaries of “Eyes Open” and “Eyes Closed” time.

I began taking note of my dreams around 2013, but it wasn’t until 2021 that journaling became an almost daily routine. I don’t catch them all, sometimes they slip away, maybe returning as a whisper. What stayed with me, became paint.

This Hardcover book features 100 of my dream paintings and their accompanying stories over 224 pages. Beginning with an introduction about these works, my process and current thoughts on painting. I further explore specific elements throughout the book, for example, “Reflections in my Paintings”.

The paintings are shown in vibrant detail on 150gsm gloss paper. At 216 mm x 279 mm it is a beautiful display / coffee table book.
